Toi Misaki (Cape Toi)
Towering majestically above the ocean, Cape Toi is home to around 90 wild horses known as 'Mizaki Uma' which were grazed there as military horses around three hundred years ago.

Obi Castle
The castle was home to the Ito Clan for 280 years until the beginning of the Meiji Period after the feudal lord Suketaka Ito took up residence there in 1588. The castle's samurai residence still features many stone walls and houses from the past, allowing visitors to picture how life was back then.

Udo Shrine
This vibrant, vermilion-lacquered shrine sits within a natural cave facing Hyuganada on the Nichinan Coast. The shrine is revered as a deity of matchmaking, marital harmony and safe, easy childbirth.

Sunmesse Nichinan
This theme park is based on a motif of sunshine and the South Seas. The park is characterized by the seven moai statue which have been faithfully reproduced to scale with the permission of Easter Island's Council of Elders and also features ancient artifacts and other world heritage items displayed on photo panels.

Tourist boat island hopping
Take a trip to the undersea park on the Marine Viewer Nango aquatic sightseeing boat departing from Sotoura Port. Enjoy beautiful, vibrant scenery including the fascinating Udeshima Island with a large, arched opening through its center as well as popular fishing spots of Kurojima Island and Misagobae islet. Passengers can also savor the attractions of Nango from the bottom of the glass-portalled boat with underwater views of red coral, yellow & black whipfish and flower-shaped jellyfish. We recommend this exciting undersea voyage!

Oshima Island pleasure cruise
Oshima Island is lovingly referred to by the locals as Hyokkori Hyotanjima ('Madcap Island'). Experience the ultimate aquatic exhilaration as you enjoy the seemingly endless blue waters and fresh sea breeze on this high-speed boat. The cruise is a luxurious way to spend time on the ocean.

Michi-no-eki' Nango
Since its opening, 'Michi-no-eki' Nango ('Nango Roadside Rest Stop') has enjoyed patronage from many locals and visitors alike due not only to its restaurant and specially-crafted souvenirs but also as the location of seasonal events and festival. Extending into the forested hills and providing magnificent scenery of the expansive blue ocean, Michi-no-eki has a truly tropical atmosphere. With its walking trails and picnic spots, Michi-no-eki is the ideal location for families, couples and friends to spend an enjoyable day.

Tropical Dome
The 'Anettai Sakumotsu Shijo' ('Subtropical Produce Support Facility') conducts testing and research on subtropical fruit trees, flowering trees, afforestation trees and high-temperature tolerant citruses in order to develop new products for resorts as well as high-quality, reliable technologies for their production. Open to the public, it is also the ideal location to enjoy walking in a tropical environment of fruit trees and flowering plants.

Minato-no-eki Meitsu
This quaint portside location features a restaurant serving up delicious local, fresh seafood and market which sells seasonal aquatic produce and processed foods as well as tempura, fruits and vegetables and soft serve ice-creams. It is a great location to have a rest and pick up some souvenirs. There are also ample parking and disabled toilet facilities.

Odotsu Swimming Beach
This large cove not only provides fantastic views of Oshima Island, Izakibana and Kokuzojima Island, but is also ideal for swimming due to its gentle waves, making it suitable for small children.

Sakaematsu Swimming Beach
This swimming beach has clear, emerald green water and directly faces a small island known as Kototsu ('solitary island') which appears to hover above the water and can be accessed by boat or simply by swimming across.
