Shimoda Prince Hotel is located about 10 minutes by taxi from Izukyu-Shimoda Station which is the final stop on the Izukyu Line (about ￥2,000) or about 15 minutes on the Tokai Bus departing from Bus Terminal 9 (stops in front of the hotel; ￥350 fare).

The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle bus from the station. Please contact the hotel to book a seat on the bus. ■Departs Shimoda Station: 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. ■Departs hotel: 9:20 a.m. & 10:20 a.m. (not operating in summer) Please note that the shuttle bus may not be available to all guests if booked out.

From Narita Airport

  • By train
  • ・Take the Narita Express bound for Tokyo from Narita Airport then change to the Izukyu Line and board the Tokyu ('Special Express') Odoriko-go bound for Shimoda (the final station). From Shimoda Station you can reach the hotel by taxi or bus. Alternatively, take the same route to Tokyo Station then board the Tokai Shinkansen bullet train to Atami Station. Next, change to the JR Ito Line bound for Ito & Shimoda or the Izukyu Line bound for Izukyu Shimoda Station (the final station). From Shimoda Station, take a taxi or bus to the hotel.
