Hakkaisan Ropeway

Hakkaisan Ropeway

Discovering solitude in the sacred mountains
while gazing vivid autumn foliage

Hakkaisan has traditionally been known as a mountain of worship with frequent visits from monks. The dignified appearance of the blazing fall leaves will be a gateway to finding solitude. After travelling 1,147m above ground while riding the cable car (which has a capacity of 81 people), you will experience vivid beautiful autumn colours. Together with this, from the observation platform at the summit, awaits the incredible panorama views of the Joshinetsu Mountains, Sea of Japan and Sado Island.
