Japan's largest ski areas, Shiga Kogen comprises 18 separate ski resorts. These world-class ski runs have hosted the 1998 Nagano Olympics, World Cup competitions, and other major events. The slopes are well groomed and maintained, and the snow is powdery.
Known as Japan's greatest ski resort, and the scene of numerous international events. Its long ski trails offer exciting rides through wonderful scenery. But it's not just about skiing. View of the 360-degree panorama from the vantage point at 2,000 m offering spectacular views of the Japanese North Alps.
