Enjoy an all-you-can-eat menu that includes roast beef, Morioka's three famous noodle dishes, and traditional Iwate cuisine, while looking out at the majestic Mount Iwate, which offers a splendid view on a clear day. We have also introduced a new “glamping meal” based on the theme of under Shizukuishi’s starry sky and prepared using vegetables that are harvested from contracted farmers’ fields within Shizukuishi Town. Enjoy the flavors of northern Tohoku made from ingredients raised in the expansive nature.

Shizukuishi Takakura Onsen

Takakura Onsen has a source flowing into, which is certified as a Hot Spring Heritage site. We are proud to be able to offer this outdoor hot spring bath in Shizukuishi Prince Hotel. Here you can soak away your weariness after a day’s skiing. Watch up close as carp swim in the pond that is right next to the bath.

Sightseeing

Geibikei Gorge

Designated a place of scenic beauty in 1925, Geibikei Gorge is counted as one of the Hundred Views of Japan.

Golden Hall of Chusonji Temple

Over 3,000 national treasures and important cultural properties are housed here showing the glories of the Oshu Fujiwara Clan, who built a golden culture. 100 minutes by car.

Lake Gosho and Flying Swans

This area is famous as a place where swans migrate to during winter.

Ryusendo Caves

One of the three biggest cave formations in Japan, and designated a National Natural Monument. Some of the caves contain subterranean lakes.

Towada-Hachimantai National Park

An area comprising about 40 volcanoes. In thermal areas, such as Goshogake Hot Spring and Tamagawa Hot Spring, volcanic action such as geysers, fumaroles, and boiling mud can be observed.
