Celebrating Excellence in Ski Tourism WORLD SKI AWARDS 2018 The World Ski Awards are one part of the World Travel Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars in tourism." Last year, Prince Hotels & Resorts was selected in the top 3 for the "World's Best Ski Resort Company 2017" category. This year, nine of our locations have been nominated for World Ski Awards across three categories.

What is “WORLD SKI AWARDS” ? The World Ski Awards were established in 2013 with the aim of furthering the development of the entire ski industry. Now in their sixth year, these awards are known as the most prestigious in the worldwide ski industry. Ski resorts and hotels are entered from around the world, with hundreds of thousands of people voting each year. This year, the awards ceremony is scheduled for November at Kitzbühel in Austria, the sacred ground of international alpine skiing competitions. When you receive a confirmation email at your registered email address, click "Verify Your email" to complete registration. STEP 2 After logging on to the World Ski Awards website, click "Vote." It offers magnificent courses covering as far as 2,500 meters of skiing distance, making full use of the unique natural topography. Skiers can enjoy an abundant array of courses from gentle beginner runs to courses for advanced skiers including Olympic courses, moguls, etc. The facility is also packed with activities for all ages, including kids courses, a family snow park, and the Candle Night Kamakura Festival for a limited time only. Located close enough so that the slopes can be seen from the train station, it boasts handy access. Enjoy refreshing blue-sky ski courses, with clear skies 90% of the time. The resort has a total of 10 courses, including 5 family-friendly beginner courses as well as intermediate and advanced levels. Skiers can enjoy a wide range of experiences, including courses with spectacular frontal views of Mt. Asama and a mogul course with maximum incline of 30 degrees.
