By Taxi: Seven minutes from the Taiko-dori Ticket Gate at the JR Nagoya Station.

Q.02 How can the Hotel be reached from the Chubu International Airport (Centrair)?

There are no large vehicle parking spaces available in parking lot of the Global Gate building, where the Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower is located.
The parking lot is not specific to the hotel, rather, it is for the entire Global Gate building, and does not have any large vehicle parking spaces or entrances available.
However, the hotel can provide recommendations for other parking lots in the vicinity.

The Tokugawa Art Museum
Go to the Nagoya Station bus terminal number 10 and get on the Nagoya City Kikan 2 bus, going towards “Itakashako.” Get off the bus at the “Tokugawaenshindeki” stop (a ride time of approximately 20 minutes). The museum is an approximate 3 minute walk from the stop.

From Nagoya Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards “Tajimi” getting off at “Ozone Station” (a ride time of approximately 15 minutes). The museum is an approximate 10 minute walk from the South Exit.

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium (23 minutes from Nagoya Station)
Take a train on the Higashiyama Subway Line at Nagoya Station, change the train at Sakae Station, and taking the Meijo Line towards Kanayama, get on the train bound for Nagoyako Station, and get off at Nagoyako Station (Nagoya Port Station) which is the last stop. It is five minutes on foot from Exit No. 3.

Take a train on the Higashiyama Subway Line at Nagoya Station, get off at Fushimi Station, and it is five minutes on foot south from Exit No. 4.

Nagoya Dome (22 minutes from Nagoya Station)
From Nagoya Station, take the Nagoya Municipal Subway, Sakura–dori Line to Hisaya-odori Station. At Hisaya-odori Station, change trains to the Meijo Line, and get off at Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Station. The venue is an approximate 5 minute walk from the station.

If going by car, take the Tokyo–Nagoya Expressway and exit at the Nagoya IC (Interchange). Then take the Nagoya Prefectural Road Nagakute Sen (Hirokoji Dori) heading west for roughly 8 km. Make a right turn at the Imaike intersection (take the loop line to the north), for roughly 2 km.

From Nagoya Station, take the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line to Sakae Station. At Sakae Station, change lines to the Meijo Line and get off at Nishi Takakura Station [COMMENT – check misspelling in JP], the venue is an approximate 5 minute walk from the station.

Nippongaishi Sports Plaza
From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido Main Line to Kasadera Station (a ride time of approximately 11 minutes). The venue is an approximate 3 minute walk from the station.

Aichi Arts Center
From Nagoya Station, take the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line or the Meijo Line to Sakae Station (a ride time of approximately 5 minutes). The venue is an approximate 5 minute walk from the station.

Q.07 What are some recommended sightseeing routes around Nagoya?

The “Me-guru Nagoya Sightseeing Route Bus” is very useful, as it allows you to hop on and off an unlimited amount of times within a day.
The bus departs from Nagoya Station Bus Terminal 11, every 30 minutes to 1 hour on week days, and every 20–30 minutes on weekends and holidays.

Q.08 How long does it take to travel to Ise Grand Shrine (Mie Prefecture)?

If traveling by car, it will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours from the Hotel.
Take the IC (Interchange) near the Hotel → from the Nagoya-nishi junction, take the Higashi-Meihan Expressway to the Kameyama junction. Then get on the Ise Expressway, and exit at the Ise–nishi IC (travel time up to this point is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). After exiting the expressway, the shrine is an approximate 10 minute drive.

If traveling by train, it will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Hotel.
