Stay in a special room, on a special trip. The Danran Room in the Naeba Prince Hotel Building 2 has a woody interior that feels like a warm mountain hut. It’s a cozy space where you can feel warm and relaxed—and come complete with a hammock! The view of the night skiing slope is unmatched.

Have an enjoyable meal at Azalea
At the end of the day, after you’ve had a great day of skiing, the Azalea restaurant at the Naeba Prince Hotel is the place to go. The chef always strives to integrate the best flavors of the season, local production for local consumption and cooperation with local producers into all the meals created. We’re especially particular about our roast beef, served with craft beer and local Niigata saké. Be sure to give it a try!

A light spectacle to end the day
Every Saturday night, take in the fun of Naeba’s famous fireworks display right on the slopes. This colorful light show flashing across the winter sky is the perfect night before enjoying another great day on the slopes. Another special night activity is spending some time with a loved one at the cocktail lounge Chatelaine, overlooking the ski slopes.

Spectacular views from Dragondola, the long road to the top
After enjoying Mt. Takenoko and taking on the big slopes and the Challenge Course, take Naeba’s famous Dragondola gondola to the Tashiro area of Kagura Ski Resort. At 5.5 kilometers in length, Dragondola is Japan’s longest gondola. The views you will see as you glide through the sky are breathtakingly beautiful. Nearby Lake Futai sparkles in an emerald green, but also changes depending on the weather, providing a great sense of the mysteries of nature.

Après ski
Time flies when you’ve been on the slopes since early morning. To relax after a great day’s skiing, the perfect spot is the hotel’s cocktail lounge Chatelaine. Enjoy afternoon tea while taking in the views of the ski slopes.
