Make your time in Karuizawa more fun and enjoyable!
Once you get off the station, you are in Snow Resort Karuizawa!
With a full range of rentals available, you can enjoy winter sports at your leisure.
You can spend your time skiing and relaxing at the hotel.
Ski lift tickets are available for Seibu Prince Global Rewards (SEIBU PRINCE CLUB) members only, and can be purchased as an option when making a reservation for the Prince Basic package.
Please apply for it from the reservation page when you make a reservation at the hotel you will be staying at.
Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Area Open 2025-2026
Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort is one of the easiest accessible resorts from Tokyo. You can reach there in about an hour by Shinkansen. The ski resort offers good condition trails mainly for beginner and intermediate level skiers, as well as snow parks. The ski season starts from November 1st as snow machines make good snow in the cold air. A huge resort area lies at the bottom of the ski resort including Prince Hotels and a big shopping complex.

Seizan Golf Course Renovated and reopened
Seizan Golf Course is evolving to enrich our customers’ golf life.
Designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban, the existing building has been renovated as a clubhouse.
It will provide a warm and open interior space.
You can enjoy a round of golf with a resort-like atmosphere where you do not have to worry about players in front of or behind you.
All groups will play through, but half breaks and additional half rounds are available upon request.

RESTAURANTA new restaurant has been established with “wellness” as its keyword.
The restaurant is available not only for lunch and dinner, but also as a café.
Please enjoy to your heart’s content, mainly dishes using ingredients from the rich nature of Shinshu and traditional fermented foods.
In addition, the restaurant offers a wide selection of drinks made in Shinshu, including wines from the “Shinshu Chikumagawa Wine Valley (East Area) Special Zone” and Karuizawa beer, as well as domestic whiskey, making it a community bar for adults who want to enjoy a relaxing drink.

In line with the Seibu Group’s common “Group Vision” and with a focus on the SDGs advocated by the United Nations,
Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa is strengthening its ESG efforts to achieve those goals.
Karuizawa Prince Hotel has acquired the “3 Gyoiko Zakura (or 3 stars)” certification under the “Sakura Quality An ESG Practice,” which recognizes facilities that practice SDGs initiatives.
■What is Sakura Quality Green?
It is a quality certification system that specializes in rating facilities based on the SDGs.
Composed of standards regarding consideration for the environment, local community, and sustainable governance, it is used to rate facilities on a scale of one to five based on the SDGs.
To enable customers to enjoy their meals with peace of mind, Princ Grand Resort Karuizawa thoroughly manages the quality and hygiene of its kitchens and food ingredients and rigorously educates employees, ensuring food safety and preventing food incidents.
Environmental Conservation [ Self-administered Forest Management ]
To conserve the natural environment of the Ski Resort and give visitors the chance to experience and learn about nature, we cooperate with the Jibatsu Forestry Promotion Association (NPO) to maintain the forest using sequential thinning for idle forests on the premises.
Starting in the summer of 2021, we began thinning operations on approximately 16 hectares of land at the Ski Resort,
