Onuma Quasi National Park

Onuma Quasi-National Park is an expansive national park that encompasses Onuma, Konuma, and Junsainuma lakes, formed by eruptions of Mt. Komagatake (1,133 m).
Skunk cabbages bloom in the park in spring, and flowers such as water lilies and least yellow water-lilies add color to the surface of the lakes in the summer.
Visitors can immerse themselves in a variety of activities, from sightseeing boat rides to canoeing tours and bicycle rentals. Each year around mid-October, the trees typically change colors all at once, marking the beginning of the stunning fall foliage season. By mid-January, a serene blanket of snow covers the nearly frozen surface of the lake, providing a pristine canvas for winter wonderland adventures. Guests can participate in Wakasagi smelt fishing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides amidst the snow-covered scenery.
