■ Venue: [Saryo – Traditional Teahouse]
This teahouse was designed by the renowned Japanese architect Togo Murano, who left a lasting legacy in the world of Japanese architecture. Known as a master of sukiya-zukuri (a traditional style of teahouse architecture), Murano’s creation reflects meticulous craftsmanship and refined aesthetics. Unlike typical sukiya-zukuri, this teahouse features unique decorative elements, offering guests a serene and distinctive experience.
Set within a traditional Japanese garden, the teahouse is built to capture the soothing sound of flowing water from the nearby waterfall. The gentle movement of the stream reflected on the paper screens (shoji) adds to the serene and graceful atmosphere of this Japanese-style room.
