Notice of Escalator Renovation Work

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike.

We would like to inform you that renovation work for the hotel escalator will be carried out during the following period.
This project involves replacing the escalator, which serves as the main access route to the banquet floor on Basement Level 2, with updated equipment.

During the construction period, the escalator will be out of service, and guests are kindly requested to use the elevators or stairs instead.
Please also note that construction noise and vibration may occur depending on the time of day.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation as we work to further enhance the comfort of our facilities.

During the Construction Period

• The escalator will be unavailable throughout the construction period.
• Please use the elevators or stairs when moving within the hotel.
• Temporary partitions will be installed around the construction area, and the work will be conducted with careful consideration for guests’ safety and comfort.
• Construction noise may be heard in the lobby atrium area and on some upper floors depending on the time of day.
• Banquet facilities will remain open as usual. Staff will be available to assist and guide guests as needed on event days.
