Magome-juku

Magome-juku is the 43rd post station on the Nakasendo Road, which connected Nihonbashi in Edo with Sanjo Ohashi in Kyoto. It is located at the southernmost point of the 11 post stations of Kiso. The post station is located along a steep mountain ridge, with inns and restaurants lining a 600-meter stone-paved slope.
