Nagoya Castle

Nagoya Castle is a historic cultural property with a castle tower that is adorned with golden dolphins. It was built under the orders of Ieyasu Tokugawa in Keicho 17 (1612). You can enjoy the stately scenery of the changing seasons in the garden that surrounds the castle. About 1,000 cherry trees blossom in the spring. You can enjoy spring events from late March to early May, and in the autumn large chrysanthemums are on display from mid October to late November.
