Rakugo is a traditional Japanese performing art that invites you to imagine.
A single storyteller (Rakugoka), using only a fan and a cloth, plays multiple characters and scenes.
With gestures and words alone, the audience envisions sounds, smells—even tastes—becoming fully immersed in the story.
Both humorous and heartfelt, Rakugo is a deep and timeless form of “entertainment through imagination.”

Born and raised in Nice, France. Worked at the cultural center
affiliated with the French Embassy in Japan for about 20 years,
and began performing as a French rakugo performer in 2011.
Appears frequently on television and radio.
