Kodaiji Temple

Established in 1606 by Kodai-in in memory of her husband, the famed warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Kodaiji Temple stands as a graceful blend of power, devotion, and elegance. The temple grounds offer a striking harmony of architecture and landscape, including serene Zen gardens, weeping cherry blossoms in spring, and glowing maple leaves in autumn.
