About SAKURA Cruise

We are excited to announce that the popular tour, which received such great acclaim last year, will once again be available to all guests this spring.

Set sail aboard the historic “Fukagawa Fujimi” boat, a traditional boat cruise operator with a rich legacy dating back to the Edo period. On this serene cruise, you’ll glide through “Ooyokogawa,” a hidden sakura haven where over 270 cherry trees are in full bloom. Enjoy the unparalleled beauty of the cherry blossoms from the water, and make this special spring experience a part of your stay at Shiomi.

About SAKURA Rickshaw

For a limited two-days, the renowned Tokyo Rickshaw from Asakusa will return in the picturesque Shiomi area, just as the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Embark on a charming rickshaw ride through Shiomi, an area rich in history and transformation since the Edo period. As your skilled rickshaw puller guides you through the scenic streets, they will share captivating insights into the local history and the allure of this unique neighborhood.

This is a rare opportunity to uncover the hidden beauty of Shiomi in a 20-minute journey, with stops at sakura-viewing spots for photo opportunities along the way. Enjoy a refined and memorable cherry blossom experience on land.
