Please be advised that the “Mt. Takakura Trekking” activity, which is held annually, will be cancelled for the current season.
However, the “Autumn Foliage Ropeway & Dog Run” and the “Early Morning Ropeway” will remain open as scheduled. We look forward to welcoming you.

Shizukuishi Galaxy Ropeway

Embark on a night walk in the sky via the Shizukuishi Ropeway, which features a vertical drop of 280 meters and reaches a summit station elevation of 730 meters.Take in the stunning nightscapes of Shizukuishi Town and Morioka City, accompanied by starry sky commentary from our expert astronomical guides. On clear nights, enjoy a breathtaking stargazing experience under the vast night sky expanding right above the summit.
※Weather-related cancellations will be determined at 5:00 P.M. on the day of the event.

Operating Hours:
Uphill (To the summit): 7:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Downhill (To the hotel): 8:40 P.M.～

Panorama Autumn Koyo Ropeway

Dogs are welcome to ride the ropeway with you! Furthermore, a dog run equipped with agility facilities has been set up near the summit station, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful autumn season together with your family and beloved pets.

Early Morning Autumn Foliage Ropeway

From inside the ropeway cabin, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the autumn gradient, with maple and trees beautifully dyed in vibrant shades of red.
Operating Dates: October 10 (Sat) – November 3 (Tue)
※ From November 4 (Wed) to November 8 (Sun), the service is available for day-trip visitors only.
Operating Hours: 6:30 A.M. – 8:30 P.M. (Last downhill ride at 9:00 P.M.)
Location: Ropeway Boarding Station (located next to the hotel)

※Package Inclusions: This plan includes admission to the “Shizukuishi Galaxy Ropeway” and one round-trip ticket for either
※1 “Early Morning Autumn Foliage Ropeway” OR ※2 “Panorama Autumn Foliage Ropeway”. Please note that on weekdays, only the “Early Morning Ropeway” will be in operation.
※Weather Conditions: The ropeway operations may be suspended due to adverse weather or other safety conditions.
※Recommended Items: Please prepare appropriate cold-weather clothing and insect repellent depending on the season.
※Suggested Travel Gear: We highly recommend bringing a leisure sheet (perfect for lying down and looking up at the starry sky), insect repellent, anti-itch medication, and warm outerwear.
※Alternative Arrangement: If the ropeway is unable to operate, we will provide an alternative voucher valid at in-house facilities during your stay (1,000 JPY for adults / 500 JPY for children). Please note that cash refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.
