Hakone-en Summer Fireworks Festival 2025

The Hakone-en Summer Night Festa 2025 will be held over two days, Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hakone-en.

Set against the majestic natural backdrop of Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains, approximately 2,500 fireworks will light up the night sky and reflect beautifully on the lake surface each evening from Hakone-en Bay.

To coincide with the fireworks festival, The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko will offer exclusive accommodation plans.
These plans will be available for advance reservation based on membership status through Seibu Prince Global Rewards (SEIBU PRINCE CLUB).

■Fireworks Viewing Plan from the Summit via Hakone Komagatake Ropeway

Enjoy a magical summer evening watching approximately 2,500 fireworks launched from the lakeside—viewed from the summit of Mt. Komagatake.

This special accommodation plan includes round-trip tickets for the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, departing from Hakone-en. From the summit at an altitude of 1,356 meters, guests can experience breathtaking panoramic views of fireworks lighting up both the night sky and the surface of Lake Ashi.

We offer two types of plans to suit your preferences:

• Dinner & Breakfast Included – with meals served at the hotel’s restaurant
• Breakfast Only – for guests who wish to enjoy a more flexible stay

Notes:

• Dinner and breakfast are served at Lakeside Grill, the hotel restaurant.
• Advance reservations are available exclusively to Seibu Prince Global Rewards (SEIBU PRINCE CLUB) members, with priority based on membership status.
• Please note that plans may sell out depending on reservation status.
• Ropeway tickets are valid for one round trip only during your stay, until the checkout date.
  In the event of ropeway suspension, the ticket may be used for admission to the Hakone-en Aquarium instead.

Enjoy a relaxing summer evening watching fireworks from guest-only seating along the lakeshore.

This special accommodation plan offers hotel guests exclusive access to a reserved viewing area (non-reserved seating) set up along the shores of Lake Ashi, allowing you to enjoy approximately 2,500 fireworks without the crowds.
All plans include one drink and a light snack, so you can sit back and enjoy the vibrant night sky while feeling the cool evening breeze by the lake.
