Furano is one of the best places to visit during autumn in Hokkaido. Furano Ropeway will take you on an exciting elevated ride over the deep forest which displays gorgeous colors of red, vermilion, yellow, green and gold. From the Panorama Deck ,at the Summit of the Ropeway, you will be greeted with breathtaking views of the Furano Basin and the Tokachidake Mountain Range which is part of Daisetsuzan National park. The fairy-tale like Ningle Terrace village near the Ropeway base station is another must-visit place to shop for original handmade arts and crafts.
