Sapporo Prince Hotel has obtained GBAC STAR™ accreditation, an international standard for hygiene.

To ensure that our guests can feel safe and secure during their stay, Sapporo Prince Hotel has obtained GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation (below, “GBAC STAR™ accreditation), which certifies that a facility meets international hygiene standards for disease prevention measures.

Prince Hotels & Resorts has already established and implemented our own hygiene and disinfection standards known as the Prince Safety Commitments, and we have taken thorough disease prevention measures so that our guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in safer and more hygienic spaces. By obtaining GBAC STAR™ accreditation, we will offer new services in a post-COVID environment to ensure the continued safety of our guests, and give them a one-of-a-kind travel experience full of joy.

■About GBAC STAR™ accreditation.

This is an international accreditation program by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a body which advocates facilities operation standards for cleaning, disinfection, and disease prevention as part of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), the world’s leading sanitation and cleaning industry group founded 100 years ago. It certifies that the cleaning, disinfection, and disease prevention measures established by the facility meet the accreditation standards set by the GBAC and are carried out under an appropriate management system, and that the facility is safe and trusted.
