It offsets the carbon emissions for a two-day stay, based on an estimated emission of 5kg of CO2 per person per day.

Easy CO2 emission reduction program through your hotel stay

This carbon offset program uses the reconstruction support scheme by Dosan CO2 (ko) Port, which pools J-Credits generated in Hokkaido.
This supports the local economy, climate change initiatives, and disaster area reconstruction efforts.

The J-Credits are certified by the national J-Credit system for the CO2 reductions achieved through using woody biomass from forest maintenance activities in Hokkaido’s municipalities.
The proceeds are used for forest maintenance, climate change measures, environmental conservation activities, and community and societal contributions, in collaboration with relevant organizations.
