Kayak
Your perspective is very close to the surface of the lake and the view from there cannot be experienced anywhere else. You can enjoy Hakone in a slightly different manner, including Lake Ashi, the Hotel, the plants by the lake, the mountains of Hakone, and the sightseeing boats.
Motor boat
Charter a Hakone-en motorboat and use it to visit the popular spots around the Hotel in comfort!
Fishing
At Lake Ashi, fishing is permitted every year from March 2nd to December 14th.
How about experiencing fishing at Lake Ashi which represents Hakone for some time to yourself in which you can enjoy fishing while gazing at the gradually changings scenery on the Hotel’s pier?
*At Lake Ashi, fishing is allowed from “one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset”. Fishing outside of these hours is prohibited.
*Guests who have their own fishing gear can enjoy fishing with their own fishing gear.
*Please note that bait fishing on the bank or pier is prohibited for one month after fishing starts being allowed.

*There is a limit number of fishing rods available for rental. (Advance reservations allowed)
*At Lake Ashi, to preserve the environment, plastic worms, synthetic bait, and so on are not permitted to be used. Please take note.
*If you have your own fishing gear and have purchased a license for recreational fishing, please let the front desk know before fishing in the courtyard.
E-bike rental
Explore Hakone’s mountain paths with ease!
We rent out bicycles that come with electric assistance. You can fully enjoy the great nature of Hakone Geopark that you will not notice if you travel by car.
Our bicycles are easy to maneuver, so they are convenient for stopping by secret spots with few parking spaces too.

Komagatake Ropeway
Command a superb view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Ashi from the top of Mt.Komagatake!
Located in Hakone-en, Komagatake Ropeway is one of the most exciting attactions to enjoy Hakone.
It takes just 7 minutes to go up to the top of Mt.Komagatake where you’ll have a breathtaking panorama of Mt.Fuji, Lake Ashi and mountains around Hakone.

Hakone-en Aquarium
At 723m above sea level, this aquarium is located at the highest elevation among all aquariums with seawater tanks in Japan. The Hakone-en Aquarium comprises a Saltwater Area that features large seawater tanks and fish from around the world, as well as a Seal Plaza that is home to Baikal seals and harbor seals. In addition to holding various events such as underwater shows, seal shows, and handshake events with Asian small-clawed otters, the aquarium also features seasonal exhibits.

NINJA BUS / WATER SPIDER
One famous ninja technique is called the “water spider”, it involves the use of special footwear to walk on water.
Now the amphibious Ninja Bus takes to the waters of Lake Ashi, Hakone,
like a ninja standing on the surface of the lake.

* There is no parking at the bus stops. Please park at the closest charged parking area or use public transport to come.

* Your reservation will be cancelled if it has not been paid for 15 minutes prior to departure.
* Even if you have paid, if you are not on board the bus at the time of departure then your reservation will be presumed cancelled and the bus will depart. (Not refundable)

Course laid out against Lake Ashi, this enormously variable course offers the full satisfaction of shots made facing the lake.

Hakone Yunohana Golf Course
An 18-hole golf course spread out across the Hanakogen plain of Hakone-no-Yu. With Komagatake in the background,
you can look down over distant Sagami Bay and Enoshima Island, with views also of the Boso mountain range.

Daihakone Country Club
The Dai-Hakone Country Club boasts a completely hand-made 18-hole golf course full of character located in the vast Sengokuhara plain against the backdrop of the Hakone Somma.
