Relax in our spacious indoor bath with large glass windows that let you enjoy the changing seasons, or in the open-air bath overlooking Momiji-yama , which is especially beautiful in autumn.

• Spring quality: Simple hot spring (hypotonic, mildly alkaline, low-temperature spring)
• Benefits: Relief for chronic pain or stiffness in muscles or joints (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lower back pain, neuralgia, frozen shoulder, contusions, sprains, etc.)
• Opening hours: 6:00A.M. – 11:00P.M. (Last entry 10:30P.M.)
• Fee: Free (Bathing tax ¥150 required)
• Notes: Facility is for staying guests only. Entire facility is non-smoking.

※ “MOMIJI HOT-SPRING” and the Fitness Room in Prince Hotel West are available exclusively for guests staying at The Prince Karuizawa, The Prince Villa Karuizawa, Prince Hotel West (main building) and Prince Dog Village.
※ Guests of Prince Hotel West Cottages may use the facility between 6:00A.M.–7:00P.M. (last entry), ¥2,000/adult, ¥1,850/child (3–12 years).
※ Not available before check-in. After check-out, available until 3:00P.M. same day at ¥2,000 per person.

Usage Rules & Notices

• Towels are available for rental at reception.
• Boys aged 7 or older must use the men’s bath; girls aged 7 or older must use the women’s bath.
• Please wash your body before entering the bath.
• Wipe yourself dry before leaving the bath area.
• Do not place towels, shampoo, or other items in the bathwater.
• No food, drinks, or magazines in the bathing area.
• Be careful of slippery floors.
• Lost locker keys will incur a ¥3,000 replacement fee.
• Beware of temperature differences when using the open-air bath.
• The hotel is not responsible for accidents or injuries due to customer negligence.
• Guests wearing diapers cannot use the facility.
• Bathing suits and clothing are not allowed in the bath.
• Guests with bathing contraindications may not use the hot spring.
• Swimming, diving, submerging, or using floats/balls are strictly prohibited.
• Cameras and electronic devices with cameras (smartphones, mobile phones, etc.) are prohibited.
• Members of criminal organizations, or those with tattoos, are not permitted. If found, you will be asked to leave immediately.
• Violent behavior, immoral acts, or actions causing discomfort to other guests will result in immediate eviction.
