Yama no Yu
This hot spring, which is said to have been enjoyed by the novelist Yasunari Kawabata, who wrote “Snow Country”, is located in the Yumoto area, past the west exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station and the Nono Ski Resort. The public bathhouse, Yama no Yu, has long been cherished as a traditional hot spring resort.
