Biwako Valley

A roughly five-minute ride on the massive, state-of-the-art ropeway gondola (121 passengers) will take you to the 1,100-meter summit with a view overlooking the scenic Lake Biwa. A number of attractions for adults and children alike await, ranging from the “Biwako Terrace” and “Koibito-no-Seichi (Lover’s sanctuary) observation platform”, which offer sweeping panoramic views from the south of Lake Biwa, to the Zipline Adventure and other activities.
