With each graceful gesture and delicate movement, you are invited into a centuries-old expression of elegance and hospitality.

This special cultural experience includes a dance performance, a photo session, and the rare opportunity to speak directly with the maiko.

Maiko from Miyagawacho – Kyoto’s Historic Geisha District

Miyagawa-cho is one of Kyoto’s five remaining hanamachi, where generations of maiko and geiko have refined their art and shared it in the quiet elegance of teahouses. This district carries the atmosphere of old Kyoto, where tradition is not a performance but a way of life.
