Mt. Moiwa offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views in all of Sapporo—especially at twilight, when the city sparkles beneath a vast northern sky. From the summit’s observation deck, visitors can take in a sweeping 360-degree vista that stretches from the cityscape to the Ishikari Bay and the distant mountains beyond.

To reach the top, enjoy a scenic ride on the Mt. Moiwa Ropeway, followed by a short cable car trip to the summit. At the top, you’ll find the “Bell of Happiness”, where couples often ring the bell together as a symbol of lasting love, and a café where you can relax and take in the scenery. Access:
Walk 1 minute from the hotel to Chuo-Kuyakusho-Mae Tram Station. Take the tram bound for Susukino and get off at Ropeway Iriguchi. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Mt. Moiwa Ropeway base station.
