Practice Ringing our Ancient Bell

Ringing of the Ancient Bell – Try for Yourself!

The bell inside our wooden Bell Tower was cast back in 1656 and originally hung in Nenbutsu-Ji temple in Nara. It was relocated to our Japanese Garden back in 1959.

Commemorating the 10th anniversary of The Prince Sakura Tower, Tokyo and the 55th Anniversary of Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, beginning on April 1st, 2009 we allow our guests to ring the bell in our garden once each day.

When ringing the bell please make a wish. Our wish is for lasting peace and happiness throughout the world, and we hope that your stay with us will be enjoyable and memorable. Please join us to ring the bell during your stay!

You can ring the bell with us at the following times:

From March to October 5:00P.M.

From November to February 4:00P.M.
