Garden of Wind

The English-style garden, with more than 450 varieties of flowers, including tulips, lupins, and roses, and approximately 20,000 blooming plants, will enchant visitors with its beauty in every season. For a limited time, visitors can also enjoy the Rose Garden, cultivated with the image of a near-natural rose garden, with native roses and perennial plants.

Furano Ropeway

From the ropeway’s Mountain Base Station, just a short distance from the Shin Furano Prince Hotel, you will swiftly reach the Summit Station at an altitude of 900 meters. After your airborne stroll of approximately seven minutes one way, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of Furano's natural beauty, including the Furano Basin and the Daisetsuzan and Tokachi Mountain Ranges. From the Summit Station, there are also climbing routes that offer a rich variety of mountain walks, including a course that leads to the 1,331-meter-high Mt. Furano Nishidake and a walking course that descends directly to the foot of the mountain.

Furano Starry Sky Adventure Tour

This popular adventure tour is set to take place during summer season too! Attendees can enjoy stargazing in the open skies above Furano Ropeway base Sanroku(base) Station. This special experience in the perfectly clear and quiet night air is not to be missed. In addition, visitors can enjoy playing with handheld fireworks at the foot of the mountain too! Enjoy your summer night experience on top of the mountain!

Tree Adventure Furano

What do you say to a thrilling trek between the trees? At Tree Adventure Furano, the newly-built adventure course in the picnic garden next to Shin Furano Prince Hotel, visitors can experience an athletic 19-stage course of 250m in length. From kids to adults, everyone can try this activity in safety as participants walk in safety harnesses. Don’t miss this opportunity—you might just feel as if you’ve become a tree-dweller yourself!

Picnic Garden

The Picnic Garden is located next to the Wind Garden. The expansive 310,000m² grassy premises are divided between a 36-hole park golf course and an outdoor zone, where visitors can enjoy hot-air balloon rides, Segway rides, and tree trekking. The flower zones dotted around the garden are resplendent with beautiful flowers in every season—it’s the perfect place to enjoy a stroll in the refreshing Hokkaido breeze.

Hot-air Balloon Flight Experience

Rise up into the sky to admire the dynamic natural views surrounding the Furano Prince Hotel! Visitors can experience a five-minute ride on a hot-air balloon, anchored to the ground by rope. The activity like this, you will not be able to do in daily life. It definitely will be a true unforgettable memory. Flights take place in the morning or evening, depending on the season.

Segway Experience

Take a pleasant trip around the expansive Picnic Garden by a Segway—a motorized, standing two-wheeled vehicle! Despite their appearance, Segways are intuitive to operate: riders move by using their body weight, and can move back and forth, brake, and change course quickly. Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s a cinch to get around! A relaxed “taster course” is on offer, as well as a 30-minute “tour course.”

Park Golf

“Park golf” is a type of golf that was invented in Hokkaido. The rules are about the same as golf, and are extremely simple. Players hit balls with clubs, competing to see who can get their ball in the hole in the fewest strokes. With 36 holes in total, this simple sport can be played by both adults and kids alike. Since the game involves a lot of walking, it might be a great way to get some exercise into your daily life!
